As one of the material issues that our Group addresses, we are committed to respecting human rights and are actively engaged in related activities. For identified human rights risks, the Risk Management Committee discusses these issues in collaboration with relevant departments, and plans and implements appropriate responses. Within our internal control system, we have established a Public Reporting Desk as a channel for reporting and consulting on the detection and correction of misconduct. In the event of any improper conduct, we will implement measures to prevent recurrence after consultating with the responsible departments.
Our Group will establish and continuously implement a human rights due diligence system to identify and assess risks of adverse impacts on human rights, and to verify and improve the effectiveness of our initiatives. In its operation, we will review and improve the system as necessary, striving to strengthen our efforts toward respecting human rights.

Our Group places the highest priority on ensuring the safety and health of people and our employees in all processes, from business operations to the use and disposal of products, parts, and materials, and is committed to creating a workplace environment in which all employees can work with confidence. To this end, we conduct annual e-learning training and questionnaires aimed at understanding and assessing employees’ awareness and knowledge regarding human rights and compliance. We identify issues related to potential human rights violations and challenges in promoting compliance, and incorporate the findings into employee awareness campaigns and training programs.
To achieve a sustainable society, it is essential that not only our Group but also the entire supply chain respond to societal expectations. We are working together with our suppliers to address these challenges. Under the PILLAR Procurement Policy, we have established the PILLAR CSR Procurement Guidelines as a guiding framework for our suppliers. Going forward, we will continue to implement ongoing questionnaires and engage in dialogue with suppliers to reduce human rights risks across the entire supply chain.
