◆ Applicable dry operation
Since the mechanical seal adopts the special carbon having excellent lubricity developed by Pillar, it has become possible to perform the aerial operation(preceding stand-by operation) for over 1 hour.

◆ Enhanced maintainability
Since the sliding parts(for stationary side and rotary side) to be replaced at time of maintenance were split, it became possible to replace the mechanical seal parts without disassembling the equipment, thus enhancing the maintainability.

◆ Unnecessary sealant system
Since it is possible to perform the operation without any water supplied during normal operation as well as dry operation(preceding stand-by operation), it is not necessary to arrange the seal water system, allowing the pump unit to be simplified.
